Barth Tasting at Wild Ginger

Mark Barth From Weingut Barth in Germany’s famed Rheingau region will be pouring an amazing lineup of Rieslings (sparkling, dry and sweet) at Wild Ginger at The Bravern for a casual tasting.

The Barth family owns some of the best vineyards in Germany’s Rheingau wine region. The wines, though not as famous as some of the other greats, are acclaimed as some of the most true and delicious Rieslings anywhere on the planet. Barth Ultra is also one of the best sparkling wines from anywhere, and made entirely from Rheingau Riesling.

Join Mark Barth as he shows guests his best juice, paired with light appetizers prepared by the chefs at Wild Ginger. Cost is $18 per person (all inclusive).

Betz Family Winemaker Dinner at Daniel’s Broiler

Join Daniel’s Broiler in the Vintage Lounge for an exclusive food and wine event with legendary Washington wine icon Bob Betz of Betz Family Winery.

Bob will discuss his long and noteworthy presence as a visionary and leader in the Washington wine industry and in particular his fabulous, award winning Betz wines.

Following will be a multi-course food and wine pairing tour de force created by Chef Mike Dremann, where each course will be expertly paired with a magnificent Betz wine.

Seattle Restaurant Week is back!

It’s time to spring into the new season by dining out and experiencing all the culinary delights our region has to offer. Seattle Restaurant Week is back! April 10–21 (excluding Friday, Saturday and brunch on Sunday) nearly 150 restaurants will highlight their best cuisines at bargain prices for guests. This year Bellevue will be represented by eight participating restaurants right in the heart of downtown.

Barrio, LOT No. 3, McCormick & Schmick’s, Monsoon East, Purple Cafe and Wine Bar, The Melting Pot, Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar and Wild Ginger will offer gourmet three-course, prix-fixe menus at a price of $15 for Lunch and $28 for Dinner, excluding beverages, tax and gratuity.

Seattle Restaurant Week comes to Downtown Bellevue

Planning to try out a new restaurant or visit an old favorite this month? With Seattle Restaurant Week happening October 17-28, here’s your chance! 100 restaurants in the region are participating and five are right here in Downtown Bellevue. Be a part of this 10 day community-wide dining out celebration by visiting any of the restaurants listed on Seattle’s Restaurant Week’s website, where you can browse menus and search by both neighborhood and meal type.

Downtown Bellevue’s Barrio Mexican Kitchen & Bar, Monsoon East, Purple Café and Wine Bar, Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar and Wild Ginger will all be featuring three-course dinners for $25 per person and three-course lunches for just $15 per person. El Gaucho hosts 2nd Annual ‘Pour On The Plaza’ this weekend

El Gaucho Bellevue was recently awarded Best in Show, Best Service and Best Private Dining by 425 Magazine, and will continue its tradition of exquisite cuisine and event hosting at the second annual Pour On The Plaza. On Saturday, August 14, guests will sample from some of the region’s most distinguished wineries and restaurants while supporting the award-winning organization Room to Read.

The outdoor event takes place from 2 to 5 p.m., and will once again be held on City Center Plaza’s expansive, grassy outdoor area, in the heart of downtown Bellevue.  Jazz guitarist and vocalist Brian Nova will lend his smooth, jazzy vibe to the event. Cost is $95 per person and reservations can be made by calling (425) 255-2715 or visiting the reservations page here. Validated self-parking will be available for Pour On The Plaza attendees in the City Center Plaza Garage (enter off 110th Avenue NE). Guests must be 21 years or older.

Wild Summer Nights at The Bravern

Celebrate the arrival of summer! Beginning Thursday, June 24, sip your favorite cocktails, enjoy bites from Wild Ginger, and listen to live jazz in front of the outdoor fireplace at The Shops at The Bravern. Wild Summer Nights gets underway at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday evening, now through September 16. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at the Concierges Desk in Building 1. All ticket proceeds directly benefit Hopelink.
 
The music series is programmed by The Triple Door and kicks off with the James Baumgart Trio on June 24, followed by:
