Local wines compliment a decadent dinner at Daniel’s Broiler

October 21, 2011

As Washingtonians well know and many wine conosseures will tell you, our state is rapidly evolving its own flourishing economy in the wine industry. While Washington is no Napa Valley just yet, towns like Leavenworth, Chelan and Walla Walla are making a reputation for themselves in the world of fine winemaking. In celebration of Walla Walla’s expanding wine industry, Daniel’s Broiler will be partnering with L’ Ecole No. 41’s iconic winemaker Marty Clubb for an evening of gourmet food expertly paired with some of Washington’s best wines.

The evening will feature a talk from Clubb about the history of L’ Ecole No. 41, as well as Walla Walla’s evolution as a winemaking region including what makes the area an optimal one for cultivating vineyards. The evening will commence with a dinner designed by master chef Mike Dremann whose dishes for the dinner are perfectly paired to highlight the complexity of each Washington wine. Guests will enjoy top notch cusine including roasted monkfish, braised goose breast, lamb osso buco and mint chocolate soufflé to name just a few. Each course will include a wine meticulously chosen to compliment the dish.

The dinner will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26th and will be $125 per person. Make your reservations by calling Daniel’s Broiler at (425) 990-6310.

So if you’re planning a special fall evening out or are just a Washington wine enthusiast, consider the L’ Ecole No. 41 winemaker dinner at Daniel’s Broiler. Also be sure to check the Daniel’s Broiler website for future special dinners and events.
