John Howie raises donations during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in honor of the occasion, Chef John Howie will be raising funds to benefit the Young Survivor Coalition (YSC). For every Ruby Red Kamikaze cocktail sold at John Howie Steak throughout the month of October, $1 will be donated to YSC’s cause. This classic cocktail is made with ABSOLUT Ruby Red Vodka, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, sweet & sour, and topped off with squeezes of fresh lime and grapefruit.
New York based Young Survivor Coalition is a non-profit organization that was created in 1998 by three young breast cancer survivors. YSC has grown into an international group that works with survivors, caregivers, and many other communities in the medical field to help young women face breast cancer together.
