"What's In Season" at Purple Café

Pull the cork and let the wine flow! Purple Café & Wine Bar is celebrating spring with a new three course dinner menu for just $30! May 17 through May 31, satisfy your spring fever appetite by enjoying the light, simple and crisp tastes that the season has to offer. Pair your dinners with refreshing white wines or lighter-bodied red’s and enjoy the “What’s In Season” menu. Highlights include fresh spring tastes such as mint, tarragon, morel mushrooms, asparagus, baby artichokes, fiddlehead ferns, wild salmon, halibut and lamb. The unique menu options will change over the two week period with the choice to add Purple’s sommelier’s 3 oz wine pairing selection to each course for an additional $15. Olive Oil Poached Artichoke Hearts
meyer lemon, crostini

Baby Mizuna Lettuce
candied cashews, goat cheese, shaved radish,
fried leeks, sherry vinaigrette

Fried Soft Shell Crab
meyer lemon aioli, miner lettuce salad

Sample Entrees

Pan Seared Halibut
israeli cous cous, chorizo, cipollini onions, peas,
sauteed spinach, red pepper butter sauce

Braised Lamb Shoulder
mint and tarragon pesto, creamy polenta

Pan Seared Wild Salmon
white asparagus, sorrel and grilled ramp coulis

Asparagus Risotto
fine herbs, parmigiano reggiano
