Talk about value and outstanding food – John Howie Steak’s Happy Hour has both. The half-pound burger is the best in Seattle, let alone the Eastside and is a meal in itself. I’d be hardput to choose between the huge helping of fries or the house-made potato chips, both priced at $3. Lots of other good choices and when you add in live piano music, it’s the best bargain in town.

Bradley and Mikel’s Pearl Bar & Dining definitely hits my Happy Hour sweet spot! Their hours are perfect, 3-6 p.m. and 9 p.m.-close, 7 days a week. So, If I get stuck at work, I can always count on meeting a friend at a later hour in the evening. Their small plates and drinks are both outstanding and half off! With over 40 wines by the glass and a refreshing, unique cocktail menu, Pearl always has a drink to satisfy my thirst and fulfill my happiest of hours. I am particularly a fan of the Pan-seared Tiger Prawns and the Bleu Cheese Tenderloin Strips paired with a glass of the Spindrift Pinot Noir. I am positive that Pearl will return as reigning champs for the 2010 Haute Picks Best Happy Hour and Best Place to See and Be Seen. Keep up the good work Pearl, thanks for always sending me home with a smile and full stomach; my kind of night.

I like Stir’s Happy Hour! Stir Martina Bar at the Hyatt hosts happy hour twice a day – 4:00 to 6:00 pm and then again at 10:00 pm – 1:00 am. My favorites are the garlic fries for $2 and the vegi-tempura for $5. Oh and don’t forget a Pink Fizz for $5.
Good times!

Check out Cheesecake Factory! My buddies and I ended up there when we couldn’t find a table at another place, and we ended up being delighted. Great service, good drinks and the food was fabulous. Happy House is new there, and I could kick myself for spilling the news, but it is bound to be busy once word gets out so go now and go often.

Downtown Bellevue has one of the best Happy Hour selections on the Eastside. My most recent visit to Pearl did not disappoint either! The food was simply delicious — the seared tuna on a bed of fresh salad was divine. The drink prices are very reasonable as well.
Loved it!

A restaurant opened last Monday with (I think) the best Happy Hour I have seen on the Eastside. It is 7 days a week from 3-6 & 9 – close. They have a huge food menu with a wide variety of options. Their local beer selection is awesome, Boundary Bay IPA rocks! It is a place that makes you feel like your are hanging out with a bunch of your friends at your house, if your house had a huge fish tank and a ton of TV’s! Check it out
