Barrio adds late night happy hour and new menu items
November 30, 2009

Barrio has only been open for a few months in downtown Bellevue and they’re keeping customers coming back through a variety of new menu adds. First, Barrio had added a brand new late night happy hour. Stop in Monday – Thursday from 10 – 11 p.m. and Friday – Saturday from 11 p.m. – 1 a.m. for a $5 margarita, sangria or wine by the glass, $3 Mexican cerveza and $1-$6 appetizers, tacos and deserts. Happy hour is also offered daily from 3 – 6 p.m. New to Barrio’s lunch and dinner menus are the Tacos En Cazuela where diners can build their own tacos with warm corn tortillas. And finally, (but certainly not least!) check out Barrio’s new ½ price wine by the bottle day held every Sunday. Spend $25 and get any wine bottle off the wine list for half price!

I’ve been going on Mondays, as the half off tequila is a fantastic way to sample new things, especially with the sangrita. The sangrita verde is my favorite. The fried hominy is a nice thing to snack on, and their tacos are fantastic. I also thought their twist on sliders was fab.
